Meet Dr. Duaa Hamoud

Education and Experience

Dr. Duaa Hamoud attended Midwestern University College of Dental Medicine - Illinois in Downers Grove for her Doctorate of Dental Medicine. While she has been a dentist for almost ten years, Dr. Duaa has been in the field for more than 20 years, having begun as a dental assistant at the age of 15, working evenings and weekends in high school, and during breaks. Even at that young age, she knew a career in dentistry could give her the personal satisfaction of helping people and changing their lives.

Dr. Duaa is passionate about using her skills to solve problems and create innovative solutions that have a tangible positive impact on people's lives, as well as the ability to significantly improve patients' lives, by not only addressing their oral health concerns, but also boosting their confidence through a healthy, beautiful smile.

Continuing Excellence

A life-long learner and lover of anything science and anatomy, Dr. Duaa completes over 70 hours of continuing education every year, making sure she is up to date on all dental procedures, as well as bring the newest and greatest technology and dental advancements to her patients, ensuring all patients will receive the absolute best possible care.

Family and Community

Dr. Duaa is happily married to her college sweetheart, biggest supporter, and backbone, Ali. They have two beautiful soccer-star daughters, Sofia and Aleesa.

When she’s not working, Dr. Duaa is proud to be a loud-mouth, full-time soccer-mom for her daughters and sideline cheerleader/spectator for her husband as he passionately runs marathons and Ironman races. In her free time, Dr. Duaa enjoys traveling anywhere and everywhere - especially if there is a beach - spending time with family and friends, and yoga. She loves a good party and will organize one for just about any reason!

In addition to her work in the office, Dr. Duaa is very involved in the Orland Park community, as she is often invited to schools all around the area to speak during oral health month and career fairs and is a mentor to students with an interest in the dental field. She is excited for her upcoming affiliation with Gr2IT, which is a nonprofit program focused on a comprehensive and developmentally appropriate social-emotional learning curriculum for students in the local community and beyond.
